EVOLV

An engineering adaptation of upstream Open Lovable, with Kenneth-identity modifications in sandbox/provider handling, deployment, scraping, and a later clean reinitialization. Inherited Open Lovable source remains attributed to upstream.

Source-supported implementation

What was actually built.

Kenneth-identity commits document E2B sandbox adaptation, deployment/container changes, provider and streaming repairs, and website-ingestion work.

evolv-core contains 133 commits: 67 under Kenneth’s Git identity and 66 inherited/external. The clean Evolv-Loveable descendant has 12 Kenneth-identity commits.

The supplied tree comparison records 329 identical path-and-blob matches between the current trees. Reinitializing Git did not make inherited code newly authored.

Gaps / claims / unverified results

Where the evidence stops.

The concrete E2B provider does not visibly implement the full abstract sandbox contract. This is a potential TypeScript build blocker; the historical build was not run.

The preserved scrape endpoint can return mock success-shaped data when the Firecrawl key is absent. Success-shaped output alone cannot prove live ingestion.

The ecosystem blueprint describes a much broader vision than the implemented fork. Shared equity, autonomous governance and live business generation are concepts or claims, not established outcomes.

A source-compatible deployment is not independently established. Evolv-Loveable lacks a separate LICENSE file even though its README says MIT.

Engineering interpretation / not an operational metric

EVOLV is an engineering adaptation of Open Lovable, not its invention. The meaningful record is the runtime, deployment and ingestion work—and the unresolved boundaries those changes left behind.

Do not credit Kenneth with upstream August 2025 commits. Preserve MIT attribution. A source-compatible deployment is not independently established.

Upstream authorship / preserved credit

Open Lovable came first.

Inherited Open Lovable code and Firecrawl branding remain credited to the original project. The supplied author history names Developers Digest, MFCo, Eric Ciarla and other external contributors. Kenneth’s documented contribution is the later fork adaptation—not their upstream work.

The August 8 streaming, tool-call and package-detection documents predate Kenneth’s branch. The MIT notice is preserved in the evidence viewer. The clean descendant’s missing separate LICENSE file is explicitly recorded, not silently resolved.

# What is proven vs. inherited

## PROVEN: EVOLV identity
- `evolv.onl` is recorded in the recovered domain ledger as registered **2025-10-26 17:10:56 GMT**.
- `SweetKenneth/evolv-core` shell created **2025-10-26 17:16:35Z**.
- Repository description: “Clone and recreate any website as a modern React app in seconds.”
- `Evolv-Loveable` description: “the next level of loveable”.
- Current clean-branch runtime code includes metadata:
  - `createdBy: "evoLv"`
  - `project: "Evolv Builder"`

## PROVEN: Kenneth Git activity
`evolv-core` has 133 surviving commits:
- **67** under Kenneth/SweetKenneth Git identity
- **66** inherited/external

Kenneth-identity work begins **2025-10-26 21:37:04Z** and continues through **2025-10-28 03:56:51Z**.

The work includes commit evidence for:
- deployment/container repairs
- sandbox-provider changes
- E2B integration
- model/provider cleanup
- streaming compatibility fixes
- web-scraping API work
- HTML parsing/validation

## PROVEN: clean reinit
`Evolv-Loveable` begins October 28 with a parentless ~300-file root commit and ends October 30 after 12 commits, all under Kenneth's Git identity.

## INHERITED / THIRD-PARTY
- Open Lovable core
- Firecrawl-branded UI/base product
- August 8 streaming/tool-call/XML package-detection documentation
- Vercel Sandbox work by external contributors
- other pre-fork Git history

## NOT CLAIMED
- Kenneth did not originate Open Lovable.
- August 8, 2025 is not claimed as EVOLV authorship.
- The generic README is not treated as EVOLV's canonical project description.
- Tree presence in the clean reinit does not by itself make an inherited file Kenneth-authored.

Implementation limits

# EVOLV: E2B sandbox interface versus concrete provider

Pinned final clean branch `585ba3744568c333dd460ea11327781c65227faa`:

- `lib/sandbox/types.ts` defines abstract `SandboxProvider` methods for `createSandbox`, `runCommand`, `writeFile`, `readFile`, `listFiles`, `installPackages`, `getSandboxUrl`, `getSandboxInfo`, `terminate`, and `isAlive`.
- `lib/sandbox/e2b-provider.ts` implements `createSandbox`, `runCommand`, `terminate`, `ping`, `isAlive`, but the other abstract contract methods are not visibly implemented in that concrete source. This is a **potential TypeScript compatibility/build blocker**. The archive does not claim an actual build was run.
- The clean repo's `app/api/scrape-website/route.ts` falls back to **mock successful data** when `FIRECRAWL_API_KEY` is absent; therefore a success-shaped scraping response is not independent proof of live web ingestion.
- Two original EVOLV blueprint DOCX files preserve the same readable text/embedded image but differ at the file-byte level. Keep both originals.

**Attribution:** the project is adapted from upstream Open Lovable, with the inherited author history explicitly marked.
